Natural landscape is the result of the integration of all physical elements such as topography, climate, hydrography, flora, fauna, among others.

CULTURAL LANDSCAPE: This consists of natural and cultural components that identifies it as such, that is, their way of life, beliefs and culture in their environment.

After viewing the day before any of the peoples of the region, at that time we decided to do a tour of Lanne-en-Barétous. It was a wonderful journey, with amazing views of the Pyrenees and Barétous Valley.
We started the day leisurely breakfast with tranquility in the family home around Lanne-en-Barétous. One thing that made us look forward to this break was to do some hiking, as the region offers endless possibilities in this regard. But the day dawned overcast, threatening rain. And in the neighboring mountains had been snowing a lot in recent days, closing some ports and limiting our options. So we decided to take a trip somewhere nearby. We had a book, Label Rando dans le Béarn, explaining exactly easy for an excursion around Lanne. So we put on hiking boots, we got rain gear and we like walking.

The tour was in the book with the name "Tour de Lanne". It was a circular route of about 3 hours of walking difficulty, with a height of less than 200 m. We left the car north of Lanne Side "Village de Vacances", before crossing Pont de Hondate Barlanès the Vert. The first section of the walk runs between some isolated houses just north of Lanne, in a place called Urruty. Although there were some that seemed second homes, the vast majority were farmers houses with large land where grazing cows. We were walking along a paved road that went uphill tuck. Sometimes it was difficult to follow the itinerary, as there were many forks in the road. But luckily, there were often signs with the name of the route.

Near the last houses, the road stopped rising for now. We walked between pastures with small wooden fences and stone houses. All postcard landscapes of the French Pyrenees!
